THE YARDS includes eleven original songs recorded in classic jam band New Orleans funk and Chicago soul. For authenticity, no overdubs or rehearsals went into the recording of this record – just jazz-fusion jamming in its purest form from a group of stellar musicians that are able to translate great technical playing into a wonderful listening experience. Favorites include the groove-til-you-drop “Sweet Potato Soup” to the funky “Here Comes The Yard Man”. THE YARDS was recorded in 2000, and remastered in 2002. THE YARDS have released 3 independent live recordings along with a limited edition 7” single.
